3 Squadron, Fano, Italy (April 1945)
Three tone camouflage with Blue 'Southern Cross' rudder.  This aircraft served with 3 Squadron from 26/11/44 to 11/4/45.  Originally coded CV-P, it was flown by Sqn. Ldr. Murray nash and was re-coded CV-<> after 11/12/44.  On 11/4/45 it was posted missing with Flt. Lt. J. Edmonds piloting.
RSL 'Classic' (from New Zealand) 1/50 P-51D with ICM 1/48 P-51 uncuffed propeller blades and knobby wheels.  Paints from Humbrol and decals from Aussie decals, Tamiya fuselage roundels and ICM upper wing roundels.
