LF 1/48 1950s/60s Pilot with P series helmet

Postby thevespabandit » Wed Jan 11, 2017 10:15 pm

Hey all,

bit of a specific request here. I'm after either a whole pilot or just the head of one, who's wearing a P series helmet to complement my early NASA T-38 build. If you're able to provide a pilot, that'd be great too, particularly if he's wearing the parachute pack, the helmet/head however is most important.

Will be happy to trade, buy, do a dance for, etc etc... Tried looking for the PJ productions resin offering with little luck.

Please see photos for details, thanks for looking guys much appreciated! :)

Hey Chris, it would indeed. In fact I've gone crazy looking for one. Direct from that website is 20odd dollars however, for one pilot which is a little pricey sadly.

Yeah i know they charge a lot for postage - have a look on ebay.com or ebay.co.uk there might be a reseller with better postage rates.

I've had a look in the past, that particular pilot is hard to find sadly, he hasn't been popped in a while me thinks.
All good I will persist. Thanks for the pointers though, happy building mate.

•The propeller is just a big fan in the front of the plane to keep the pilot cool. Want proof?
Make it stop; then watch the pilot break out into a sweat.

Hi Robert,

If it's the Academy kit with the Red Roo Sabre, then I have a feeling based on what I've seen on google images; yes. That'd be great, I'll send you a PM shortly.

Cheers
