With the PB shemozzle, I have been avoiding updating this thread as there are a fair few images in it.

I managed to do a little more, I decided to light the cockpit and cargo bay and that has been completed.

I added 3 nano-LEDs to the cockpit and cargo bay. Power is from a single 1.5V button battery which will hide on the installed ramp. Not sure where the switch will go, maybe on the ramp as well.

Sure is, it didn't help that last night while working on it the power went out and I dropped it. I managed to repair the damage and am now pushing on.

Very nice work Ray - you are braver than me! I have one of those in the stash and I am happy to leave it there for now. Cheers PJ

So I have finally managed to add the windscreen panels, I cut pieces out of an old cd case and filed them to shape, some were scratched along the way

First one fitted, can you pick them?

Last ones gone in, had to rejig the centre pillar

Puttied up the gaps, too much putty?

Putty cleaned up and panels sanded and polished

There are still some blemishes I will have to live with. Now I can get on with inserting the cockpit and buttoning up the fuselage after I repair some damage that is.

loving the work you do on this Ray. I'm stoked to see you haven't given up on it and just think, after all this work you've done, it should be finished right in time for the Kinetic release of their 72nd C17 :D
But the effort poured into this one will be much more appreciated than an OOB build
If it's too good to be true then it probably is....
