A pair of Jeeps. Locomotive and Rotabuggy

Postby rowdy75 » Tue Sep 10, 2013 5:11 pm

First up is my jeep locomotive as used by Australian troops in Borneo . I took the easy way out and added rail wheels to a diecast jeep. Made this some time ago and still haven't got around to making the train for it.

The next one I stumbled across this quite by accident while net surfing and decided I needed to try and make one. I thought it was something rather simple to start for today as I have just come off nightshift so simple is all I can handle today. Anyways I grabbed a Matchbox LRDG jeep which wasn't progressing at all and added the basic tail. Second jeep is obviously still WIP

Nice :) . There's one of those "Rail-Jeeps" here in the War Memorial.

Asho,
Google rotabuggy!! I had to look it up too.
Two unusual modelling subjects, looking forward to the completion of the flying jeep though!

Not much done, my shifts aren't good for modelling at the moment, but some more work on the rotabuggy tail
