Morane Saulnier MS 410.

Calling this one done. Hobby Craft 1/48 MS 410, Swiss Air Force 1944. The kit itself was mostly ok, except for a badly warped lower-wing/fuselage part that needed boiling water & imagination to get even close. The decals were crap & likewise the canopy, wish I'd got a vacform one for it but there's not much detail in the cockpit anyway, just some belts added. Last few pics are natural light to show the true colours, the rest are with flash.
Paints are all Tamiya acrylics, except for the black which is Humbrol enamel (I ran out of Tamiya). I played around with some home-made "smoke" & the antenna is stretched sprue.

Looks very good! Always interesting with unusual markings.

As for the antenna, you can buy elastic thread. All you need is some superglue, a pair of tweezers and a steady hand to glue it into place, and it looks very good too when painted with a metal colour, such as Dark Iron.

I bought Rig that thing!. You get a small roll with 45 metres of elastic thread, which will last for many air plane projects. I use it for all my aircraft builds.

Thanks Swede. I'm working my way up to Ezi-line & stuff like that for any biplanes I might be mad enough to build. For the mo, the sprue works now that I stumbled across a technique for tightening it.
