1/48 RAAF Sea Hornet

Postby rodenlee » Thu Feb 21, 2019 9:22 am

Hi all
Here's Classic Airframe's 1/48 Sea Hornet dressed as TT213 as trialled by the RAAF. The kit is pretty well OOB with the addition of a pitot tube and decals from a very generous AMIer (whose name escapes me...apologies and thanks Sir!).

I had planned to paint her in EDSG over sky but couldn't resist the opportunity to bring my preferred genres (RN FAA and Aus military) together.

I can heartily recommend the kit...one of CA's simpler builds, though the instructions will have you fit the U/c with insufficient rake forward but any appropriate pics will set you straight.

Cheers
Shaun
