Yeah, I should've quit with the Mr White Surfacer but it's come up okay now. Just took off the masks and it's not too bad but I'll leave it to dry for another week before masking for the yellow, I think.

It's been a while since I updated this, so here's where it is at the moment:

I'm waiting for the replacement windscreen to arrive from Italy after I stupidly lost it after its last Future coat. Once it arrives, I'll fit it and then gloss coat the lot before applying decals. It has enough nose weight, as you can see in the second shot.

The mainplanes were fitted after I painted the trim colours. Of course, once fitted the previously nicely-fitting wing/fuselage junction ended up with gaps that needed filling and repainting (several times)! Should be a fairly straightforward exercise once the decals are on.

Looking really good. What are you going to do about the serial? Are you able to print your own decals?

Yeah, I printed my own decals - took me ages to find the right fonts!

Nice work there Rob, I'd like to have a crack at designing and printing my own decals. One day perhaps!
