Geez that looks good Ray. This kit is going to be my next build too, and just like yours (though I'd not seen yours when I thought of its), I'm looking to have it just taking off/touching down over water. It will be my first stab at a water diorama, have been looking at various vids, resin looks a bit complicated, might go for painted styrene?
I'm going to do The Dabster - they recently held a memorial for its crew in the Philippines as they have figured out it most likely crashed in the ocean near there - https://philippines.embassy.gov.au/mnla ... 50423.html
