-a bit of French

Postby ixgr1 » Sun Feb 17, 2013 5:17 pm

Ok, here's my build for this GB.

I am doing Daphne De Dual
I WAS going to do the B Hornet, but have re-reconcidered my plans back to a D mirage, as the name suits the aircraft better ?

-here's the show...
Image

You will see here the Heller kit that has the two seater option. The Red Roo Mirage 'D' conversion and the Noverscale decals.

and the initial work on the conversion......

Alright!

I have this conversion to do as well. I even started it a few years ago. I will be keeping an eye on your efforts Steve.

Carry on!

Wow, you are getting on with this build Steve, by this stage I would still be organising tools on the workbench, must get on with my Wedgetail!

Paint looks good.

-Here she is;
RAAF Mirage iiid A3_102 "Dapheny De Dual". She's not perfect, but I finally did a Mirage........!

Image

I enjoyed this build, mostly because of the convertion. And, maybe, collecting all the bits and pieces to get it done :D
-thanks to Andrew, and others that helped out on this project........

PostScript,

Andrew's build (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5671) reminded me. I actually got to meet A3_102 in the flesh a couple of weeks back, only days after completing this build. A religious experience indeed !

Very nice indeed... Nothing better than seeing another delta winged marvel finished. Love your work and the subject you chose...

Well done.
