Can you actually get weapons sets for 1/350th aircraft? Any idea on how to find the correct air wings and then find the decals for the high vid marked air wings in both scales? I have the Nimitz & Kittyhawk in the smaller 1/800 & 1/750 respectively.

On closer inspection today - the WWII memorial is actually a tiny insert for the deck - wow! The two 'hills hoist' type antennas are comlpletly photoetch (aside from the mast) and the additional 'funnel' parts are a rebuild of the forward superstructure around the bridge.........

this thing just gets better ! very happy with this perchance :D -I am definatly thinking of doing it as the 1991 Version

Ok, long time between shouts,

I have had this kit for a year now......and pooring over it I decided I really do "need to do it right". The only REAL needed plus for this kit is the Photo etch railings - not included. Looking at this, the wooden deck would be a nice addition, concidering the efforts I whent to painting my Titanic deck(s). I would have been happy with this and almost just perchaced the Gold Medal Models photoetch, and the Artworkz Deck. Ok nice upgrade for around $80 ?

But, I says to myself......the GMM set is very bacic as it has to cover the 1950 and 1980 vertions.

So after many deliberations I treated myself to the Pontos detail set - found it 'cheep' and so............

OK, it cost more than.I've ever spent on an indivdual kit, but the sum of the contents far out paces the whole. And WOW !
