Disposable pipettes a really useful addition to the tool kit

Postby wally » Sat Apr 04, 2015 2:02 pm

Before now I used bits of sprue to take out and mix paint colours from jars to a palette or another jar, for larger quantities I would tip from the jar, always a mess always a pain so I searched on the net and found these:

cheap and effective

Yes they are very good.
If you cut the bulb off you can use it to go over airbrush tip for back flushing...useful for H&S which has all those little ports around the AB cap.
Also the long cut off left over stalk can be used to fit tank wheels onto for painting, just cut it back until you have the right diameter to tightly fit.

Yep, I'd find painting next to impossible without them.

I've seen where some have cut the end off, placed it over the nozzle of a spray can and decanted the paint too. Haven't tried that myself yet, but it seems to work well.
