Do any members know what this small intake is for? It's not carb air nor for oil cooling?

I have seen other pictures of P&W powered Beauforts that do not have this intake, but I didn't notice if they were Australian-built or British.
I was just wondering what it was for. Why would it need this small intake?

I wonder if they're for engine accessory compartment forced ventilation? The Caribou has two electrically actuated doors per nacelle for similar purposes. They look too small to be effective as heating air intakes, I'll be interested to see the final explanation.
