What other new GB's were there?

Postby harvs73 » Sat Feb 16, 2013 5:57 am

I can remember the RAAF and FAA GB's but I am sure there were others. I can't remember the dates for them or who kindly put their hands up to moderate the GB's.

There was a GB for aircraft carriers and anything to do with them. This included planes, choppers, carriers etc. I think there may have been a helicopter/rotary wing GB also.

There was also the F16 build but that's all the info I can recall. Hoping to finish mine(and C130J) this weekend.
I'm not older than dirt, but I do remember when it was new.

The RAAF and F-18 GB were going side by side.

I was the mod for the Carrier build.... Buggered if I can remember the dates. Seeing how Harvs has made a cracking start I'm happy to start this retrospectively from the start of Feb.

Everyone happy with that??

The Carrier build was due to start in April, IIRC - I've got a bit much on at the moment!

1/48 Revell Tornado GR4 (from the IDS boxing)

The DC-9 GB was still in progress - in fact, it had been extended to June ( I think ).

Hi David. Any chance of getting a Falklands GB subforum set up as there's a few of us interested in the subject? Ta
