the Hasegawa kit is ....not the most user friendly. But still the better quality,,,,just ! (the whole company could raise its game IMHO)

-however a quickie update, I have wings .......

a word to the wise. I chose to do the in kit flaps; they are not for the faint hearted ! (I am currently cutting and inserting many actuator/hinges)

Hey Guys,
just finished the Pre-shading 10 mins ago, and will do the first coat over the top soon, this is the first model where i have used an airbrush, alot better than hand painting, !!!!

coming along nicely but thats not to say without alot of effort ! very dissapointed in the quality of the fit , not like most hasegawa kits i have built, but anyway, enjoying it !

hope everyones f-14 is coming along ! will post more photos of first coat later today

More progress throughout today,

first coast is on and i like the affect of the pre-shading so i think im going to do the whole aircraft in this affect,

Thoughts?????

Nothing wrong with the pre shade Matt. You might want to adjust the wing glove weapons pylons if they are fixed in position, the missile rails should be parallel with the aircraft centreline ( not toed inwards).

Hey Guys,
just a quick update,

no pics at this time but will do by the end of the week, just sprayed the red lining on the wings and am right now making my own intake covers,

the intake covers are looking really good ,

if you are looking to do some intake covers please PM me and i may be able to help,
